Dr. Behram Shah, DMD

Dr. Behram Shah spent his early childhood and grew up in a small town in Beaumont, Texas. Being a Texan at his core, Dr. Shah attended The University of Texas in Austin where he graduated with honors and received his undergraduate degree in biology. After completing his bachelor's degree, Dr. Shah went on to pursue his life long dream of becoming a dentist by gaining admissions at the prestigious Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Here, Dr. Shah earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) and graduated at the top of his class with magna cum laude honors. After his studies in Boston, Dr. Shah moved back home to Texas, where he has been in private practice since 2014 here in DFW.

Dedicated and passionate about dentistry, Dr. Shah is actively involved in dental organizations and continuing education courses to further his training. Dr. Shah provides treatment in all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, and implant surgery. Dr. Shah is certified in Invisalign orthodontics, conscious oral sedation, nitrous sedation, and has been trained in CAD/CAM technology. Dr. Shah is dedicated to providing patient care that is comprehensive, courteous, responsive, and tailored to the individual needs of each patient. These goals are met while using the most current technology and techniques.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shah loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Vivienne, and his two sons, Ari and Essen. Dr. Shah is a huge college football fan and burnt orange is his favorite color! His passions include cooking, traveling, and binge-watching ‘The Office’. Dr. Shah loves to stay active outdoors, in the gym, and most importantly, in the community.

"I'm extremely passionate about my job because dentistry completely changed my confidence as a child. As a kid, I was very conscious of my smile due to crowding and underbite issues. I was fortunate that my parents found a caring and talented dentist that not only corrected bite problems but also enhanced and brightened my smile. This boosted my confidence significantly, and I was proud to smile and show it off.

That dentist's ability to ease my fears allowed me to relax and trust him with my teeth. He educated me and helped me develop good habits so that I would hopefully always be cavity free as an adult. I've always admired my dentist for boosting my confidence and wanted to do the same for others since that age. I shadowed many dentists in high school and was involved in every dental association I could join since then.

It has been a life-long dream for me to follow this path and I am extremely happy, ecstatic, and fortunate to have the ability to impact peoples' lives by enhancing their smiles."

Vivienne Hoang

Vivienne has developed a deep interest in healthcare within the community and a passion for serving families through dentistry, traits she has emulated through Dr. Shah. She has worked side-by-side with Dr. Shah to build a dental office that provides the best care for every family member at every age. Servicing the patient with their needs and providing a comfortable, pleasant experience is her priority and she is excited to build relationships and get to know the community!

Born and raised here in DFW, Vivienne feels right at home in Wylie, TX. Vivienne attended the University of Texas at Austin bringing back home two degrees to DFW to establish her career at a Fortune 500 Company. After years of working in corporate finance, Vivienne found herself looking for a purpose that would allow her to serve and be a bigger part of her community. At InSmile Dental, she is ecstatic at the opportunity to do so through working with an amazing team to help patients achieve their ideal smile.

Outside of InSmile Dental, Vivienne is a foodie at heart who loves to cook and explore new cuisines through travel. Her love for the arts extends to everything from visiting new exhibits and art galleries to seeing live music. Being with family is where she feels most at home so spending time with her parents, sister, and husband is what she values most.

Emily

Registered Dental Hygienist

Emily is a Registered Dental Hygienist who proudly acquired her degree from Texas A&M Dental School for Dental Hygiene.  Before becoming a Hygienist, Emily was a Registered Dental Assistant for years where she enjoyed making children smile in Pediatrics and Orthodontics.  Emily is one of the few hygienists in the state of Texas that is licensed and certified to provide local anesthesia. 

A few workplace goals of Emily’s are to form bonds and relationships with her patients. She believes each patient deserves an individual approach to meet their specific needs based on their experiences and feelings towards dentistry. Another goal of hers is to ensure patient satisfaction where she strives to have every dental visit as easy and relaxing as possible. Oral health is the gateway to a patient’s overall health and she wishes to enlighten patients on their oral health and maintain routine cleanings and exams.

Zeke

Registered Dental Assistant

Zeke graduated in 2012 where he obtained his Registered Dental Assisting license. Zeke has worked in Oral Surgery, Pediatric Dentistry, and General Dentistry for over 15 years and is now in General Practice here at InSmile Dental. With his extensive experience, he provides the highest standard of care to every member of the family, of every age.  Zeke is also involved in our community outreach programs where he helps set up dental screenings at school events and educational sessions at health fairs.  You will find Zeke involved in all aspects of our practice, whether it is in the front or the back assisting patients.  If you've ever visited our office and seen how healthy our office plants are, it is because Zeke is an expert at taking care of plants!

In his free time, Zeke enjoys concerts, traveling, collecting music records, and adding to his plant collection at home. 

Maria

Registered Dental Assistant

Maria works as a Registered Dental Assistant here at InSmile Dental. She started her journey as an extern and has become an integral part of our practice over the last 3 years.  Maria is an expert at taking cone beam cat scan images and using cad technology to scan patient's with intra-oral scanners.  She assists Dr. Shah for all his complex restorative cases and is a key part of our practice.  While assisting Dr. Shah, Maria’s number one priority is to ensure every patient feels at ease during their appointments and to provide them with the utmost high-quality care. She aspires to ensure the patient has a great experience during their visit.  While working full time, Maria is also in school and in the process of pursuing her aspirations of becoming a Dental Hygienist.   

Outside of InSmile Dental, Maria is an avid traveler.  She enjoys riding bikes and most importantly, spending time with her family. 

Jackelyn

Patient and Insurance Coordinator

Jackelyn is a San Diego native that has moved to Wylie.  Jackelyn is an expert when it comes to your insurance benefits and getting all the details to help our patient's utilize their policies.  When you call or visit our office, she will be the first person you interact with.  She is welcoming, kind, and the life of our practice.  Prior to entering the dental field, Jackelyn spent years in sales.  

Outside of the office, Jackelyn is active in the gym, catching up on Love is Blind episodes, and traveling!
